What colleagues are saying

Gwen has been such a strong pillar of support in our practice! We are so thankful to have her as a resource for our clients in all stages of their pregnancy and postpartum experience.

Talking to Gwen feels like getting a hug. She has such a calming presence and excels at making sure that her clients feel heard and supported.

It is apparent in the way Gwen communicates with and advocates for the women that she serves that she is living her life’s true purpose. She exhibits a balanced combination of gentle compassion while providing practical advice. Gwen demonstrates a genuine investment in each of her clients’ care and well-being.

Having worked with Gwen for many years now in the perinatal setting, I can say with confidence that she is a wonderful therapist, and is especially well-suited to support mothers and birthing persons in all stages of pregnancy and the postpartum. She is deeply compassionate, understanding and kind, as well as insightful and expert in her field. I trust her with all my heart, I refer to her often and I recommend her to everyone who is struggling with any mental health concern, but especially those with concerns in the childbearing year.

Gwen is the epitome of calm and compassion. Of hearing and then acknowledging and perhaps even challenging the thought process. Her desire to support women in the childbearing stage of life is strong and is part of her very core.

Why Mindful?

Being mindful is to be aware of what’s happening in our mind and body in the present moment without judgment or expectation. With this awareness, mindfulness as a practice allows us to better control our thoughts and feelings and can support you in feeling empowered no matter where you are in your parenting journey, even the tough stuff. Mindful Mama was created with the philosophy that with awareness of our mind and body, unconditional support to express ourselves, and knowledge and tools to use when we’re struggling, we can become more in control of not only what we think and feel in the moment but also empowered to be the parents we want to be – both for ourselves and our families.
Give yourself the gift of Mindfulness, Mama.
